How to Order & Terms of Trade

ORDERING & DELIVERY PROCESS

Diamonds, engagement rings, and jewellery can be ordered 3 ways:

  1. On your phone, P.C. or laptop through our online checkout.

  2. Toll free by phone, with the help of a Diamond & Jewellery Expert, at 1-866-339-9988.

  3. By emailing Service@DiamondExchange.ca with the SKU number(s), or a screenshot, and/or details of the product you wish to purchase, along with your preferred method of payment and desired delivery address.

We accept payment by:

  1. INTERAC e-Transfer - You can pay over multiple days in multiple daily limit installments. Our INTERAC e-Transfer email address is: Service@DiamondExchange.ca

    INTERAC e-Transfer payments are quick and easy, and funds normally arrive immediately, meaning we can start processing your order as soon as we receive your 1st payment.

  2. Wire Transfer or Direct Deposit - Phone us toll free at 1-866-339-9988 or email Service@DiamondExchange.ca to let us know this is your preferred method of payment, and we will email you our banking details that you can take to your local bank.

  3. Credit Card - We accept VISA, MasterCard and AMEX online and by phone, as well as Google Pay and Apple Pay through our online checkout.

    Please Note:
    • Prices are quoted for payment by INTERAC e-Transfer, Direct Bank Deposit or Wire Transfer. There is a 3.5% surcharge for payments by VISA, Mastercard, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and 5% for AMEX.

    • Credit card transactions may take up to two business days for verification and clearance. This time should be considered in addition to the delivery time for any orders placed using a credit card.

Delivery:

  • Loose diamonds will be shipped to the address you provide within 7 to 10 business days from the date you place your order and make payment. Please allow an additional 5 to 7 business days for the creation of a build-a-ring.

  • Custom-designed engagement rings and jewellery will be completed within 15 to 20 business days.

  • If it's convenient for you, we offer the option to collect your diamond, engagement ring, or other jewellery pieces at either our Toronto or Mississauga locations. Upon completion of your order, we will reach out to schedule an appointment for you to pick up your purchase.

  • If you require your diamond, engagement ring or jewellery by a specific date, please let your Diamond & Jewellery Expert know ASAP, and if expedited delivery is possible; we are happy to accommodate any reasonable requests.

  • When your order is complete and ready to be shipped, you will be notified of FedEx priority courier dispatch and provided a FedEx tracking number that you can use to track your order at www.FedEx.com

  • We offer a 14 day, 100% satisfaction guarantee in case your diamond is not as described in the independent grading report and any correspondence from us, so if you order a diamond and it is not as advertised, you can return it to us within 14 days for a full refund or an exchange - Please CLICK HERE to read the full terms & conditions of our refund policy and the process to return your diamond.

TERMS OF TRADE

By completing a transaction with Diamond Exchange Canada / Diamond Exchange Toronto Inc. by phone, email, text, in-person, and/or online, you are agreeing to our terms of trade:

  • Our rock-bottom margins rarely change and are the lowest in Canada, if not the World. Because we sell diamonds internationally, at the best prices, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week our diamonds sell very quickly. Therefore, the availability of the products on our website are subject to change without notice.

  • If you purchase an item and it's not available for any reason, we will provide you with a similar alternative or provide you with a refund. If you choose a new diamond that's cheaper, we'll refund you the difference in price.

  • Prices and data may be inaccurately shown on our website due to system or typographical errors made by our suppliers. Although we make every effort to prevent these discrepancies, they can happen. We reserve the right to amend any errors upon their discovery and do not commit to honoring erroneous or incorrect prices. In the event that a product's listed price is lower than its true price, we will reach out for your direction prior to dispatching the product, or we will annul the order and inform you of the cancellation.

  • Our diamonds are priced in U.S. dollars, and then the local currency exchange rate is applied. Therefore, the diamond prices on our website may change without notice due to fluctuations in the USD / CAD exchange rate.

  • Diamond, engagement ring and jewellery prices quoted by phone, text or email are valid for 24 hours and may be subject to change thereafter.

  • We use FedEx Priority Overnight Courier and FREE delivery applies to all orders over $1,500 shipped to metropolitan areas within Canada.

  • A shipping and handling fee of CAD $75 applies to all orders under $1,500 and/or CAD $75 for deliveries to rural areas within Canada.

  • A $150 shipping and handling fee applies to all deliveries within the continental U.S.

  • For international deliveries and overseas shipments, the shipping and handling fee will be calculated at the time of purchase.

  • Your diamond, engagement ring and/or jewellery is only considered to have been purchased after confirmation of receipt of funds by our bank (RBC). Bank drafts and certified cheques may need to be verified by our bank, before your diamond, engagement ring and/or jewellery is considered purchased.

  • If you are paying by credit card, your transaction must be approved by our Merchant Services Provider and the merchant copy of the Credit Card Transaction Receipt must be signed and returned to us by email or signed by you in person, before your diamond, engagement ring and/or jewellery is considered purchased.

  • Due the high value of our products, during our checkout process, we may require identity verification in the form of a "selfie" and through an online identity verification service (we use iDenfy, Trulioo, and SumSub).

  • We offer a 24-hour hold period for diamonds, to allow you time to arrange payment. Should you not make specific arrangements with our Diamond & Jewellery Experts within this time frame, the hold may expire, and the diamond could become available for purchase by other customers.

  • For approved returns that fall outside the terms listed in our Refunds & Returns Policy, as well as our 14-Day, 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, the 3.5% surcharge (only applied to payments made via credit card) is not refundable.
